1. The present writ petition under Article 226 read with Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeks to assail the order dated 20.09.2018 passed by the learned Central Administrative Tribunal ('the Tribunal') in Original Application (O.A.) No. 1988/2014.

2. Vide the impugned order, the learned Tribunal has rejected the petitioners' claim for grant of MACP in the Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/-.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have already filed an O.A. bearing no. 4022/2023 wherein they have sought the same grade pay by claiming parity with Stenographers in the Central Secretariat Stenographers Service (CSSS). She submits that in case, the petitioners succeed in the said O.A., which is pending adjudication, the present writ petition will become infructuous.

In the light of the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, we are of the view no useful purpose will be served The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. by keeping the present petition pending as almost the same relief as sought in the present petition i.e. Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/- by way of 3rd MACP, has been sought by the petitioners in O.A. No. 4022/2023, which is still pending consideration before the learned Tribunal.

The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioners to seek revival of the present petition, if the need so arises, after disposal of their pending O.A. bearing no. 4022/2023.
