% 29.10.2018 After some hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners, on instructions, submits that he may be allowed to withdraw the present petition and the application filed therewith and instead be given liberty to file fresh petition since he intends to challenge the procedure adopted in the case from which the present petition arises, the proceedings recorded subsequent to the impugned order of cognizance being reflective of it having been treated as a case instituted on a police report.

The petition and the application filed therewith are dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for granted. Dasti.
