During the pendency of these writ petitions, various subsequent developments have taken place. The respondents have also issued guidelines for driving school and their establishment on 26.06.2024. 2.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners fairly submits that in view of the new guidelines having been issued by the respondents, most of the grievances of the petitioners stand settled. He, however, submits that there are certain objections with respect to Clause 2 of the Guidelines dated 26.06.2024. He, however, submits that he has already raised the grievance before the respondents for its appropriate consideration which is still pending with the official respondents. In view of the aforesaid, he prays that the official respondents be directed to consider his grievance with respect to Clause 2 and to pass a speaking order.

Keeping in view the nature of submissions made by learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, the Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the instant writ petitions with the following directions:- i.

Let the petitioners to file a fresh representation, if not already filed, along with a copy of this order passed by this Court with respect to The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Clause 2 of Guidelines dated 26.06.2024 within a period of two weeks from today.

ii.

On receiving a fresh representation on behalf of the petitioner, let the Transport Department of GNCTD to pass a speaking order within a period of four weeks thereafter.

Needless to state that before taking a final decision, the concerned Department shall extend an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners or their representative. If the petitioners have any further grievances left thereafter, they shall be at liberty to take necessary steps in accordance with law. 5.

The petitions stand disposed of alongwith pending application(s), if any.
