1. The anxiety expressed by Mr. Gulati, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner is that the Petitioner's return should be expeditiously processed notwithstanding that the outer time limit for an assessment order to be passed in respect of the return filed for Assessment Year 2016-17 is 31st March, 2018. He states that three representations have been made to the Respondents without any response from them.

2. The Respondents are expected to respond to the representations made by the Petitioner and proceed in accordance with law. WP(C) No. 7776/2017

3. No further directions are called for from this Court at this stage.
