By way of this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of Cr.P.C., petitioner is seeking direction to the respondent Nos.1, 5 & 6 to take appropriate action to protect the life, liberty and property of the petitioner and her family members from the clutches of the respondent Nos. 2 to 4.

Learned ASC for the State/R-1, 5 & 6 has filed the status report and submitted that necessary legal action has already been taken on the complaints filed by the petitioner and her daughter. Alleged respondent No.2 Satish @ Soni is a person of quarrelsome nature against whom a proposal for Externment under Section 47 Delhi Police Act were initiated against respondent No.2. The proceedings have been dropped vide order W.P.(CRL) 1830/2015

No.2749-50/Ext. Branch/North-East dated 15th September, 2015. However, a Kalandra under Section 107/150 Cr.P.C. has been prepared against respondents and filed before the Court of SEM/North-East, Seelampur, Delhi.

Ms.Richa Kapoor, learned ASC for the State/R-1, R-5 and R-6 has submitted that beat staff of the concerned area has been sensitized to keep regular watch over the petitioner and mobile numbers of SHO, PS Nand Nagri and Beat Staff of the area were provided to the petitioner to enable her to contact the police in case of need and mobile number of the petitioner has also been taken. Learned ASC for the State/R-1, R-5 & R-6 has further submitted that so long the threat persists, the police will continue providing necessary protection to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, on being satisfied with the assurance given by learned ASC for the State/R-1, R-5 and R-6, seeks leave to withdraw the present petition.

Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn. As prayed, copy of the order be given dasti to learned counsel for the parties.
