% 01.10.2018 The parties have already resolved the dispute by entering into a settlement, pursuant to which some payment has already been made by the petitioners to the complainant i.e. the respondent company. The parties have the liberty to approach the trial court with the appropriate application for compounding of the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments, Act, 1881 in accordance with law. No further directions are called for in the present petition. The petition and the applications filed therewith stand disposed of.
