Mr. Vineet Chadha accepts notice for the respondent. Counsel for the respondent says that he does not wish to file a reply in the matter, as he does not oppose the prayer made in the petition.

The record shows that the Arbitral Tribunal entered upon the reference upon appointment of the Presiding Arbitrator on 5.5.2017. The record also shows that the parties agreed to extension of time beyond statutory period of 12 months by another period of six months. This order was passed by learned Arbitral Tribunal on 22.2.2018. 5.

The parties seek extension of time as the extended period of six months comes to an end on 5.11.2018.

Accordingly, having regard to the time and money invested by the parties, I am inclined to extend the period for concluding the arbitration proceedings by a further period of six months, commencing from 5.11.2018. 8.
