We are informed by the respondent Nos.5 and 6, who are present in Court, that in all the cases filed against them in respect of subject property, civil cases have been withdrawn while the criminal cases stand quashed. 2.

We are informed by Mr. Rakesh Kumar Khanna, learned senior counsel for the petitioner that undertakings have been W.P.(C) 7691/2017

recorded of Ms. Monica on the one hand and of the respondent Nos.5 and 6 on the other that they would not litigate qua this case in future.

Mr. Khanna urges that in this background, this Court may accept the apology tendered by way of affidavit dated 15th January 2018, for the reason that the petitioner is in the nascent stages of his practice and that he is genuinely contrite and has undertaken that he would observe the highest traditions of the profession of law. The petitioner who is present in person, submits that he is remorseful of his conduct and requested that his apology may be accepted. He has further requested that no punishment be enforced upon him as noted in our order dated 11th January, 2018. 4.

Sh. Ravinder Singh and Mrs. Harvinder Kaur-respondent No.5 and respondent No.6 respectively are present and submit that this Court may accept the apology tendered by the petitioner. 5.

In view of the above, we accept the apology tendered by the petitioner on affidavit. The petitioner is directed to pay the cost of Rs.100/- each to the respondents 1, 2, 5 and 6 within a period of one week from today. Proof of payments shall be filed in this regard.

The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms. 7.
