CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A. K. CHAWLA
O R D E R
% 11.12.2017 CM APPL. 44917/2017 (Exemption) Allowed subject to just exceptions.
CONT.CAS(C) 650/2017 & CM APPL. 44916/2017 By the present application, the respondents seek cancellation of the bailable warrants issued on 16.10.2017.
Bailable warrants came to be issued as neither the respondents appeared nor the compliance of the orders allegedly violated, were reported to have been complied with.
Today, during the course of hearing, ld. counsel for the petitioner concedes that the orders allegedly violated stand complied with. He however, submits that the delay was intentional. Mr. Singh, ld. Standing Counsel for respondent-Archaeological Survey of India, on his part, fairly concedes that there was some delay in compliance
of the directions of this Court, and he has sounded the concerned Officers well, and that such a situation shall not arise again. Taking such statement of Mr. Singh, ld. Standing Counsel for respondent-ASI on record, the contempt petition is disposed off. Copy of the instant petition shall however, be sent to the competent Authority of ASI to take the remedial actions.
Petition as well as pending applications stand disposed off accordingly.
Date earlier fixed i.e. 13.12.2017 stands cancelled.
