The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that a direction be issued for an appointment of a Member, Delhi Cooperative Tribunal in a time bound manner. It is stated that the said Tribunal is not functioning since 01.07.2017 on account of Sh. C.P. Tripathi demitting his office as a member of the said tribunal. Indisputably, the respondent has to take steps in ensuring that an appointment is made so that the Tribunal is functional.

In this view, the respondent is directed to take all necessary steps for appointing a member as expeditiously as possible and to ensure that the said

Tribunal is functional.
