% 30.10.2017 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 are neighbours.

FIR No. 170/2017 under Sections 323/341/354/354(A)/ 365/506/511/34 IPC was registered at Police Station Karol Bagh on the complaint of respondent no. 2. Respondent no. 2 alleged in the FIR that on 16th June, 2017 she returned home from her office at about 9:30 pm when she found petitioners drinking in front of her house. They stopped her.

Petitioner no. 2 caught hold of her and tried to drag her towards a car. Petitioner no. 3 caught hold of her from behind, while petitioner no. 1

touched her breast. Her brother, that is, respondent no. 3 came there but was assaulted by the petitioners. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 are present in Court and have been identified by SI Naresh Kumar of Police Station Karol Bagh. They say that they have settled the matter with the petitioners, vide a Memorandum of Settlement dated 31st July, 2017, of their own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 say that they are not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind the fact that petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 are neighbours and they have settled the matter amicably, in the interest of justice, FIR No.

170/2017 under Sections 323/341/354/354(A)/ 365/506/511/34 IPC was registered at Police Station Karol Bagh, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
