O R D E R

% 06.12.2017 By this petition the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to file a Special Leave Petition before the Hon'ble Supreme Court, arrange money for the same and maintain social ties.

A status report has been filed. As per the status report the petitioner has his own paternal house being H.No. N-160, Sunder Nagari, New Delhi wherein four brothers and six sisters of the petitioner along with their families are residing. The petitioner was granted interim bail during trial which concession he did not misuse and was in custody during the pendency of the appeal.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has roots in the society and remaining portion of his sentence is around less than 10 months, this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner. It is therefore directed that the W.P.(CRL) 2514/2017

petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety bond of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court/ CMM concerned.

Petition is disposed of.

Copy of the order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent Tihar Jail.
