Crl. M. C. 3513/2017 The instant petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No. 941/2014 punishable under Section 135 of Indian Electricity Act registered at Police Station - Kalkaji, New Delhi, on the complaint of respondent No.2 and the proceedings pursuant thereto. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioners have already settled the matter with the BSES and paid a sum of Rs.1,14,870/- and seek the quashing of the aforesaid FIR.

Counsel for the parties submits that they have no objection if the present FIR is quashed as the petitioner has cleared the theft bill amount of Rs.1,14,870/-.
Statements of counsel for the petitioner and authorised representative of the respondent No. 2/BSES have been recorded separately. In view of the aforesaid statements, the FIR No. 941/2014 punishable under Section 135 of Indian Electricity Act registered at Police Station - Kalkaji, New Delhi and all the proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
The petitioner is, however, burdened with costs of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) to be deposited with the Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee. The cost has been paid and receipt has been filed by the petitioner.
The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
