IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI

+ BAIL APPLN. 1746/2017 RAVI YADAV ..... Petitioner Through: Mr Ravi Joshi, Adv.

Versus

THE GOVT. OF NCT OF DELHI ..... Respondent Through: Mr. Amit Chadha, APP for State.

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE NAJMI WAZIRI

O R D E R

% 27.10.2017 The applicant seeks bail on the ground that the co-accused Puneet, who was identified by the police, has been granted bail vide order dated 11.02.2016. However, the learned counsel for the State contends that Puneet was not identified and his role in the crime was not attributed to the same degree as it has been to the applicant. He submits that PW-2 Naushad had specifically identified the applicant apropos his being the bike rider and also having caught hold of the hair of the deceased Badal and injured the latter's face by hitting his knee in Badal's face. In this manner, the case of the applicant is entirely different from that of his co-accused Puneet, who was granted bail vide order dated 11.02.2016.

Keeping in mind the aforementioned facts, this Court sees no reason to grant bail. The application is dismissed. NAJMI WAZIRI, J.
