O R D E R

% 06.12.2017 FIR No.101/2014 under Sections 323/354/506/34 IPC was registered at Police Station Dabri, pursuant to the directions of learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Delhi under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. A perusal of the FIR shows that petitioner's sister got engaged with son of respondent no. 2 on 17th November, 2013. It is alleged that after the engagement, petitioner invited respondent no. 2 and her son at his house on 16th December, 2013. When they went there, petitioner misbehaved with them. He also abused them. It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes

amicably, vide a Compromise Deed/Mutual Settlement dated 3rd May, 2017; therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Devender of the police station Dabri.

Respondent no. 2 submits that she has settled the matter with petitioner of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.

She submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further against the petitioner and the same may be quashed. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2, in the interest of justice, FIR No.101/2014 under Sections 323/354/354-B/506 IPC registered at Police Station Dabri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
