W.P.(Crl.) 2516/2017 The petitioner alleges that he is being harassed by his own son. A notice was issued to the son by this Court.
This Court has been informed that when the son of the petitioner was confronted with the aforesaid facts, he promised to mend his ways and has also assured the local police that he shall not, hereafter trouble his father. However, considering the fact that the petitioner stays in the same house where his son stays, the SHO of the concerned police station is directed to take steps to ensure the safety and security of the petitioner who
is an aged person. For the aforesaid purpose, the petitioner shall be made known the telephone numbers of two of the officers posted in the police station. In case of any SOS call from the petitioner, it is expected that the aforesaid two officers shall respond promptly and forthwith. No other order is required to be passed in the present writ petition.
