% 18.01.2016 By this petition the petitioner was seeking directions to the respondents to decide his appeal dated 18th August, 2013 under Article 31 of the Jamia Milia Islamia University Act, 1988 which according to the petitioner had been delayed considerably.

On 01st September, 2015, counsel for the respondent had stated that the petitioner's appeal would be taken up by the Executive Council in the next meeting likely to be held in October, 2015. Today counsel for the respondent states that the decision has been taken in the appeal by the Executive Council on 27th November, 2015. She further states that copy of the relevant decision shall be supplied to the counsel for the petitioner within ten days from today.

Counsel for the petitioner states that under the circumstances he does not wish to press this petition any further and that the same may be disposed off while reserving his right to take all further action in law to which he may

be entitled. He is permitted to do so. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
