(COMM.) 114/2017 & I.A.No.11147/2017 This petition is filed seeking enforcement of the arbitral award dated 15.03.2017 passed by the sole arbitrator whereby a sum of Rs.1,70,01,663.00 has been awarded to the decree holder. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has received the signed copy of the award on 15.03.2017 itself from the arbitral tribunal and the present petition is being filed after expiry of the prescribed period under Section 36 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. He also submits that the petitioner has not received any information regarding filing of any petition challenging the award by the judgment debtor. He further urges that the assets of the respondent are situated at Kangra, which falls under the jurisdiction of District Court at Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. It is prayed that the award/decree which being a decree for the purpose of execution is transferred to the appropriate court of Dharamshala.

The prayer is allowed and the transfer certificate may be issued to the petitioner.

Petition stands disposed of.
