O R D E R

% 30.10.2017 Petitioner and respondent no.2 (complainant) are neighbours. As per FIR, a quarrel took place between them on some trivial issues, which had led to registration of FIR 839/2014 under Section 354A IPC at P.S. Alipur. It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have now settled their disputes amicably and, therefore, the aforesaid FIR may be quashed. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Subhash Chand of P.S. Alipur. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.

Respondent no. 2 further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind the facts and circumstances as detailed above, more particularly the fact that petitioner and complainant-respondent no.2 are

neighbours and they have settled their disputes in order to maintain harmonious relation in future, in the interest of justice FIR 839/2014 under Section 354A IPC at P.S. Alipur and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
