1. None appeared on behalf of the Respondent on the previous dates. None appears today as well.

2. The present petition is directed against an order dated 31st October, 2018 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi („CAT‟) in OA No. 4142/2018 which is in the nature of an interim order directing the present Petitioner to allow the Respondent to participate in the examination for the post of TGT (Social Science) Female under Post Code of 138/17 on 14th November, 2018 on a provisional basis.

3. The examination for the above post was in fact held on 15th October, 2018. The Respondent could not attend the said examination because she fell sick. By the said interim order, the CAT had permitted her to sit in the

next examination for a different batch to which the Petitioner did not belong. By an order dated 13th November, 2018 this Court stayed the said impugned order of the CAT.

4. With the Respondent not having appeared thereafter, it is plain that she is not interested in pursuing the matter. The impugned interim order of the CAT has, therefore, been rendered infructuous and is accordingly hereby set aside.

5. The petition is allowed. No costs.
