MA 5400/2016 (by the petitioner for reduction of surety amount) This is an application moved by the petitioner for reduction of surety amount on the ground that he is not in a position to furnish surety to the extent of Rs.25,000/-. On advance notice, Mr Ashish Aggarwal, ASC for the State appears and submits that he has no objection to reduction of surety amount. Accordingly, in view the submissions made therein the application is allowed and the surety amount is reduced to Rs.15,000/- from Rs.25,000/-. The application stands disposed of accordingly.
