W.P.(CRL) 3445/2018 The petitioner seeks extension of parole which expires today. In terms of order dated 14.09.2018, he was released from jail on 13.10.2018 for medical treatment. However, this treatment could not be completed because of further complications.

Additionally, his residence requires extensive repairs which his wife cannot undertake on her own and requires the assistance of the petitioner. The petitioner has been incarcerated for more than 10 years and he has been granted furloughs over 20 times and parole for about 7 times but has never

misused the liberty ever. His conduct in jail has been reported to be satisfactory. His conduct outside the jail for the last one month, is stated to be non spectacular.

His medical condition is not in doubt. In the circumstances, parole is extended by a period of four weeks on the same terms and conditions as enumerated in the order dated 14.09.2018 in W.P.(Crl.) 2745/2018. A copy of this order be delivered upon the Jail Superintendent concerned through the State.

The petition is disposed of in the above terms. NAJMI WAZIRI, J.
