% 26.09.2017 W.P.(CRL) 2555/2017 This is a petition filed under Article 226 read with 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of Writ of Mandamus and Prohibition directing the Delhi Police to provide protection to the petitioners and their friends and relatives. Learned Counsel of the petitioners has submitted that petitioner No.2 is the wife of the petitioner No.1 and they got married on 20th June, 2017 as per the Hindu rites and customs. He further submits that the certificate issued to this effect is placed on record as Annexure P-1.

The respondents No.2 to 4 are present in person and are represented through their counsel Mr.Rishab.

The respondents No.2 to 4, present in person, submit that since the petitioner No.1 and the petitioner No.2 have got married on 20th June, 2017, they have no objection to the marriage of the petitioners and they also undertake that they will not interfere into the personal life of the petitioners No.1 and 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the original educational documents and certificates of petitioner No.2 Ms.Deepti, when they got married, after leaving the parental house, she left her original educational documents at the parental house. However, respondent No.1 submits that since she left home on her own, they are not in the possession of any original certificates or educational documents of the petitioner No.2. The petitioner No.2 may apply for the duplicate copies of the said educational certificates from the concerned authority. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel of the petitioners, the present petition is disposed of with direction to the SHO of concerned Police Station to keep vigilance and to provide necessary protection to the petitioners as and when required.
