Learned counsel for the parties jointly submit that the issue raised in the present petition is squarely covered by the decision of the Apex Court in Employees Provident Fund Organisation and Another vs. Sunil Kumar B. And Others: 2022 SCC OnLine SC 1521.

In the light of the aforesaid stand taken by the parties, nothing further survives for adjudication in the present petition. The petition is accordingly disposed of by directing the respondents to ensure that reliefs in terms of the aforesaid decision, if not already released to the petitioner, be released in his favour within a period of eight weeks.
