None was present on 21.09.2017 and 23.01.2018. The petitioner was convicted by order of conviction dated 30.08.2016 and sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of two months and to pay compensation of Rs.1,65,000/- to the complainant and in default to undergo further simple imprisonment of three months.

Nominal Roll of the petitioner has been received, which shows that the petitioner had completed his sentence on 28.01.2018 and has been released on the same day after the expiry of the sentence. The petition has, accordingly, become infructuous. 3.

The petition is dismissed as infructuous.
