Bail Appln.No.1809/2017 Learned counsel for the petitioner states that as per the FIR itself complainant was in a relationship with the petitioner from the year 2009. She was also having live-in relationship with the petitioner. She alleges that in the year 2009, petitioner forced her to undergo abortion. However, no complaint was lodged by her at that time. The present FIR has been filed in the year 2017.

The learned APP submits that petitioner developed friendship with the prosecutrix in the year 2009. He raped her after administering some intoxicating material to her. Respondent threatened him that she would lodge a police complaint. On this, petitioner promised to marry the prosecutrix. He also blackmailed her by showing her nude photos. Between 2015 to 2017 petitioner and prosecutrix lived together. Subsequently, petitioner flatly refused to marry her. Keeping in view the totality of the facts and circumstances of this case, it is ordered that in case of arrest petitioner be released on bail subject to his furnishing a personal bond in sum of `10,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/IO/SHO of the concerned police station.

The bail application is disposed of.
