The petitioner - a minor of 11 year old - has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (hereafter 'the ILBS') to provide the necessary medical treatment to the petitioner.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent no.4 has submitted that the petitioner is in need of a liver transplant. The petitioner belongs to the EWS category and, therefore, has also prayed that ILBS be directed to provide a treatment free of cost.

Learned counsel appearing for the ILBS submits that as per directions

of the Government of NCT of Delhi ,ILBS is providing free medical treatment to EWS category patients and would also extend the same facility to the petitioner.

In the circumstances, the present petition is disposed of by directing respondent no.4 to ensure that the petitioner is transported to ILBS in an ambulance along with all the medical records in order that necessary treatment can be provided to the petitioner by ILBS. 5.

The petition is disposed of.
