ORDER

% 11.12.2017 By these two petitions under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1908, it has been prayed that following two cross FIRs may be quashed :- a) FIR No. 1384/2014 under Sections 341/509/34 IPC and Section 12 of POCSO Act registered at police station

Vasant Vihar, on the complaint of Ms. Neha. Since Ms. Neha is aged about 17 years she is being represented through her mother, that is, Mrs. Saroj Devi (respondent no.2 in Cr1. M.C. 3636/20 17);

b) FIR No. 1377/2014 under Sections 341/354/506/509/34 IPC and Section 12 of POCSO Act registered at police station Vasant Vihar on the complaint of Ms. Sapna. Since Ms. Sapna is aged about 17 years she is being represented through her mother, namely, Sita Devi (respondent no.2 in Cr1. M.C. 3678/250 17).

It is submitted that Ms. Neha and Ms. Sapna (complainants) are related to each other and living in the same locality along with their respective families. A quarrel took place between both the families on some trivial issue which led to registration of aforesaid FIRs. It is further submitted that with the intervention of their common friends and other family members, accused persons and complainants (through their natural guardians) have settled their disputes amicably. Father of Ms. Sapna, namely, Sh. Lala Ram is accused in Cr1. M.C. 3636/20 17; whereas brothers of Ms. Neha, namely, Neeraj Kumar and Bablu @ Arjun are accused in Cr1. M.C. 3678/20 17. Ms. Sapna, Ms. Neha are present in court along with their mothers, namely, Mrs. Saroj Devi and Mrs. Sita Devi. They submit that they have settled the matter with the, accused persons of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. They further submit that

"1 they are not willing to pursue their respective FIR' s any further and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind, that matter has been amicably settled between the parties and complainants do not wish to pursue the FIRs, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIRs and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Both the petitions are disposed of in the above terms. Dasti.
