By this petition the petitioner had sought directions to the respondents to grant compensation to the petitioner under the Delhi Victims Compensation Scheme and/or Rule 7 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Rules and/or Section 357A Cr.P.C. 2.

Learned counsel for DSLSA has handed over a order dated 8th November, 2017 wherein an interim compensation of ₹50,000/- has been awarded to the petitioner and the final compensation, if any, would be W.P.(CRL) 2671/2017

subject to the final decision in the trial.

Copy of the order has been handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner who thus seeks leave to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh one in case the need arises at the stage of grant of final compensation.

Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
