CRL.M.C. 3616/2017 This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C filed on behalf of the petitioners for quashing of FIR No.673/2013, under Sections 308/34 IPC, registered at Police Station Karawal Nagar, Delhi and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners and the respondents No.2 & 3 are the neighbours and due to a misunderstanding arisen between the parties, a quarrel had taken place which resulted into the registration of the aforesaid FIR against the

petitioners. Counsel further submits that the petitioners too got registered a counter FIR pertaining to the same incident bearing No.672/2013, under Sections 308/34 IPC at Police Station Karawal Nagar, Delhi. Counsel further submits that after the registration of the FIR, the near relatives and the friends intervened and the misunderstanding has been sorted out and the matter has been amicably settled and the same has been reduced into writing on 24.05.2017 and nothing further remains to be adjudicated between them, however, the present FIR is coming as hurdle in the personal life of the petitioners and prays that the FIR and all proceedings arising therefrom may be quashed.

The injured/respondents No.2 & 3, namely, Nasir and Firoz are present in person and have been identified by SI Inderveer Singh, P.S. Karawal Nagar, Delhi and also represented by their counsel. Both the injured, present in person, admit the settlement reached with the petitioners and further submits that the petitioners are their neighbours and they have no objection if the FIR is quashed.

Consequently, FIR No.673/2013, under Sections 308/34 IPC, registered at Police Station Karawal Nagar, Delhi and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed. Parties shall be bound by the settlement dated 24.05.2017 The present petition is allowed and stands disposed of accordingly. Copy of this order be given dasti to the parties, as prayed.
