The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, impugning an award dated 08.09.2018 passed by the Lok Adalat. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the said award has not been signed on behalf of the petitioner and, therefore, is not in terms with the Regulation 17

(2) of the National Legal Services Authority (Lok Adalat) Regulations, 2009.

In view of the above, the award is set aside. The respondents are at liberty to pursue the proceedings initiated before the Motor Accident Claim Tribunal in MACP No.1751/2016.

The petition is disposed of. The pending application is also disposed of.
