1. The prayer in the present petition reads as under: a) Issue a writ of Mandamus or any other suitable writ, order or direction in the like nature thereby holding that the acquisition proceedings resulting from the Award No.8/1992-93 dated 19/06/1992 and all subsequent proceedings under Land Acquisition Act in respect of land bearing Khasra No.255, land measuring 06 Bigha 03 Biswas share i.e (01 Bigha 11 Biswas sq.yds.) situated in the Revenue Estate of Village Ghonda Gujran Khadar, Delhi- is null void and all subsequent proceedings conducted.

b) Therein stood lapsed in view of the provisions of Section 24(2) of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act,2013. W.P.(C) 8198/2017

c) Direct the respondents to release the aforesaid land comprised in Khasra No.255 land measuring 06 Bigha 03 Biswas V4 share i.e (01 Bigha 11 Biswas) situated in the Revenue Estate of Village Ghonda Gujran Khadar, Delhi.

c) Pass such other or further orders, as this Hon'ble court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of the case may also be allowed in favour of the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh petition giving an appropriate explanation for the inordinate delay in approaching the Court for the above reliefs.

3. The petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. S. MURALIDHAR, J.
