% 13.12.2017 By this petition the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to file the Special Leave Petition and maintain social ties. As per the nominal roll the petitioner was acquitted by the learned Trial Court however, on an appeal filed by the State the petitioner and the co-accused were convicted vide order dated 23rd September, 2015. Learned Additional Standing Counsel informs that after the conviction and order on sentence the petitioner did not surrender for six months and had to be traced. Further one of the co-accused in the FIR is absconding since 2nd February, 2005. The Special Leave Petition filed by the co-convict is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court. W.P.(CRL) 2594/2017

Petitioner can prefer the Special Leave Petition before the Supreme Court through Jail. This Court finds no ground to grant parole to the petitioner.

Petition is dismissed.
