% 29.11.2017 By this petition the petitioners seek quashing of FIR No. 199/2015 under Sections 506/387/365/34 IPC registered at PS Baba Hari Das Nagar on the complaint of respondent No.2 on the ground that the parties have entered into a settlement.

A status report has been filed which shows that after investigation since the allegations against the petitioners were not substantiated a cancellation report has been filed and vide order dated 6th October, 2017 the learned Metropolitan Magistrate has accepted the cancellation report with a rider that case/ investigation be reopened when any clue is received by the Police. The cancellation report having been accepted, at this stage the W.P.(CRL) 2593/2017

petitioner cannot seek further quashing of the FIR, however is granted liberty to approach the Court with remedies as available in law in case the investigation in the FIR is reopened.

Petition is dismissed.
