1. The prayer in the present case reads as under: "Issue a writ of Mandamus or any other suitable writ, order or direction in the like nature thereby holding that the acquisition proceedings resulting from the Award No 1/98-99 dated 24.04.1998 of village, Shahbad Daulatpur District North, Delhi in respect of land of Khasra no. 194 (1-07) at Village Shahbad Daulatpur Delhi total measuring 1 Bigha 7 Biswa is null, void and all subsequent proceedings conducted therein stood lapsed in view of the provisions of section 24 (2) of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013."

2. A counter affidavit has been filed by the LAC in which it is pointed out

that pursuant to the judgment of the Supreme Court on 21st March 2012 in SLP Civil 3513/2007 a fresh Section 6 was notification was issued on 26th April 2013. No Award pursuant thereto has yet been passed.

3. In that view of the matter, the question of entertaining the present petition for a relief under Section 24 (2) of the 2013 Act does not arise.

4. The petition and the pending application are accordingly dismissed. S. MURALIDHAR, J.
