Crl.M.C.No.3656/2017 It is submitted that petitioner No.3 and respondent No.2 have settled their disputes amicably. Therefore FIR No.842/2014 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at PS Kingsway Camp/Model Town and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. Petitioners No.1, 2 and 4 are relatives of petitioner No.3. Respondent

No.2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Ms.Sangeeta. Respondent No.2 admits having settled the matter with petitioner No.3 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure of coercion. She states that her marriage with petitioner No.3 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent dated September 05, 2017 passed by Family Court North District, Rohini Delhi. Petitioner No.3 has paid `5,00,000/- to respondent No.2 in Court by way of a demand draft, photocopy whereof is placed on record, towards the balance settled amount. Respondent No.2 submits that with this payment, entire settled amount stands paid and she has no objection if the present FIR is quashed. Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the parties voluntarily FIR No.842/2014 and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

The petition is disposed of.
