% 31.08.2015 The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition seeking grant of parole on various grounds namely for attending the last rites of his mother, who expired on 23.8.2015; get himself treated for ailments and also prefer an appeal against the judgment and order passed by the Trial Court. The petitioner had approached the competent authority on 23.7.2015 for being released on parole but his application has not yet been acted upon. No order has been passed on such application.

The competent authority is directed to dispose of the application preferred by the petitioner preferably within a period of 30 days from today and intimate to him through the Superintendent of the concerned jail. The petition is disposed off accordingly.

Let a copy of this order be communicated to the Home Department of NCT of Delhi through the Registry.
