% 28.11.2018 Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Amit Kumar of police station Moti Nagar. She submits that presently she is 20 years old. She has settled the matter with petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that petitioner has compensated her for the mental trauma suffered by her by paying `20,000/-. She has no objection in case FIR No. 199/2013 under Sections 354A/354D IPC and Sections 11 and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 registered at police station Moti Nagar is quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between petitioner and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be

served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
