The present Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 has been filed on behalf of the Petitioners to quash the FIR No. 527/2018 under Sections 308/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station Mehrauli, Delhi in the light of the Compromise Deed dated 08.10.2018 arrived at between the parties.

Learned Additional Standing Counsel, on instructions from the Investigating Officer, who is present in the Court, submits that even though the settlement has been arrived at between the parties, however, the Respondent No. 2 is refusing to appear before the Court for getting the FIR The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Apparently, there is no settlement between the parties as the Respondent No. 2 is refusing to appear before the Court. 4.

Parties are directed to appear before the learned Trial Court for further proceedings.
