CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 27.10.2017 Petitioners and private respondent no.2 (complainant) are neighbours. It appears that a quarrel took place between them on some trivial issues, which had led to registration of FIR500/2014 under Sections 324/354/45 /34 IPC at P.S. Ambedkar Nagar. It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably with the intervention of common friends and, therefore, the aforesaid FIR may be quashed. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Amit Kumar, P.S. Ambedkar Nagar. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no. 2 further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind the facts and circumstances as detailed above, more particularly the fact that petitioners and complainant-respondent no.2 are

neighbours and they have settled their disputes in order to maintain harmonious relation in future, in the interest of justice FIR500/2014 under Sections 324/354/451/34 IPC registered at P.S. Ambedkar Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
