% 27.10.2017 Petitioners and respondent no.2 are neighbours. A perusal of FIR shows that a quarrel took place between them on some trivial issues, which had led to registration of FIR449/2015 under Sections 509/34 IPC at P.S. New Friends Colony.

During investigation, section 354-D IPC was also added.

Charge sheet has been filed.

It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Mediation Centre, Saket Courts on 26th July, 2017, therefore, the aforesaid FIR may be quashed.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Kanhiya Lal, P.S. New Friends Colony. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no. 2 further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same

may be quashed.

Keeping in mind the facts and circumstances as detailed above, more particularly the fact that petitioners and respondent no.2 are neighbours and they have settled their disputes in order to maintain harmonious relation in future, in the interest of justice FIR449/2015 under Sections 354-D/509/34 IPC registered at P.S. New Friends Colony and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
