Ms. Veerpal Kaur wife of the petitioner is present with her parents. Petitioner is also present with his mother. We have interacted with Veerpal Kaur in chamber. We have also interacted with the parents of Veerpal Kaur in chamber. We also called the petitioner and his mother in chamber in the presence of Veerpal Kaur. Veerpal Kaur states that she would like to live with her husband. The parents of Veerpal Kaur, including respondent No. 4 are, however, not willing to accept this matrimonial alliance between their daughter and the petitioner. We, therefore, sought assurance from the petitioner and his mother that Veerpal Kaur shall be properly looked after since she is

taking an important decision of her life to go with the petitioner even to the displeasure of her parents. The petitioner and his mother both have assured this court that they shall take due care of Veerpal Kaur and shall provide all love and affection that she deserves, considering the fact that her parents are now estranged.

2.

In these circumstances, we direct the police to provide safe passage to the petitioner, his mother and Veerpal Kaur to their residence. The SHO, Police Station - Bhalaswa Dairy and the DCP concerned shall ensure that proper safety and security is provided to the petitioner, his family members and Veerpal Kaur from any threat or harm that may come from respondent No. 4 or his family. We have also cautioned respondent No. 4 not to take law in his hands. In case any calls are received from the petitioner, his family members or Veerpal Kaur, the police is directed to seriously attend to the same. The mobile phone number of the Beat Constable of the area and the SHO concerned shall be provided to the petitioner and Veerpal Kaur for this purpose.

The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 4.
