No steps were taken for service of respondent No.2. 2.

By this petition, the petitioners seek protection from and direction to respondent No.2 not to interfere in their married life by extending any kind of threat and also quashing of FIR No.286/2017 under Section 363 IPC registered at PS Punjabi Bagh on the complaint of respondent No.2. 3.

Petitioners claim that they are major and have married of their own free will, thus, the FIR registered against petitioner No.1 be quashed. 4.

Learned proxy counsel for learned ASC, on instructions, submits that both the petitioners are major and statement of petitioner No.2 has been recorded who has stated that she has married petitioner No.1 of her own W.P.(CRL) 2621/2017

choice and free will, thus a cancellation report has been prepared that will be filed before the competent court within two weeks. 5.

In view of the statement of learned counsel for the State on instructions from the Investigating Officer, learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions from the petitioners does not press the present petition any further.

Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
