W.P.(Crl.) 2640/2017 The petitioners seek protection from the respondent nos.1 & 2 as against the activities of respondent nos.3 to 6. It has been submitted that petitioner nos.1 & 2 are widows whereas petitioner no.3 is the son of petitioner no.2.

There is a matrimonial dispute between petitioner no.3 and respondent no.4. This Court has been informed that one FIR has been registered at the instance of Smt. Babli, respondent no.4 as against the petitioners. The petitioners state that the respondents have been troubling and harassing the petitioners continuously and on certain occasions, even

assaulted them.

In the event of matrimonial dispute being investigated, it would not be appropriate for this Court to issue direction in a blanket manner to respondent nos.1 & 2 to provide any protection to the petitioners. However, Ms.Nandita Rao, ASC has informed this Court that the petitioners have been advised to install CCTV cameras and in case any undesirable movement is spotted, the police would swing into action immediately.

Ms.Rao has also informed the Court that pursuant to the complaint made by the petitioners, FIR has been registered against the erring respondents. She assures this Court that in case of any distress call from the petitioners, necessary/prompt action against the respondents shall be taken. Nothing else is required to be ordered in the present petition. This writ petition is, thus, disposed of accordingly. ASHUTOSH KUMAR, J SEPTEMBER 13, 2017 ab
