Counsel for the appellant seeks a short adjournment. She states that the appellant has filed rejoinder to the reply filed by the respondent. However, the said rejoinder has not come on record. She wishes to bring the same on record. Advance copy of the same has been served on learned counsel for the respondent.

Learned counsel for the respondent states that the appellant has not made payment of full amount of maintenance and rent that this Court had directed in terms of the order dated 28.02.2019. We make it clear that mere filing of this application does not absolve the appellant from complying with the said order. In case, at the time of hearing, the appellant is found to be in

arrears and not complying with the said order, that would be a reason for us to reject the present application.
