O R D E R

% 05.01.2018 It is submitted that petitioner is brother-in-law of respondent no.2. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issue which led to registration of FIR No. 316/2016 under Sections 307 IPC at police station Nand Nagri. It is further submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably vide Compromise Deed dated 26th July, 2016, therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating thereform may be quashed.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Ombir Singh of police station Nand Nagri. He submits that he has settled the matter of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or

coercion and he has no objection in case the FIR is quashed. Affidavit of respondent no.2 is also on record.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of this case as detailed above, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous.
