CRL.M.C. 3756/2017 This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking expeditious trial in FIR No.97/2012, under Sections 302/201/34 IPC, registered at Police Station-Prasad Nagar, Delhi pending before the Trial Court. Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is facing trial in the aforesaid FIR and the trial of the case is going at snail's pace. She has further submitted that the matter pertains to the year 2012 and out of 40 prosecution witnesses, the Trial Court has examined only 33 witnesses in a span of five years and submits that the Trial Court be directed to expedite

trial in FIR No.97/2012, under Sections 302/201/34 IPC, registered at Police Station-Prasad Nagar, Delhi.

Learned APP for State on instructions from Investigating Officer has submitted that out of 36 prosecution witnesses, 33 witnesses have been examined and the trial is at the fag end.

In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and looking into the facts and circumstances of the case, the Trial Court is directed to conduct the trial as expeditiously as possible. The present petition is disposed of accordingly. Copy of this order be sent to the Trial Court forthwith for necessary compliance.

Copy of this order be given dasti.
