% 18.09.2017 It is submitted that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2/complainant, have settled their disputes amicably in terms of Memorandum of Understanding dated 30th May, 2015 and, therefore, FIR No.528/2013 under Sections 354/354-A/509 IPC registered at police station Dabri on the complaint of respondent no.2, and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom, may be quashed. Petitioner no.1 is brother-in-law of respondent no.2. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Devender P.S. Dabri. Respondent no. 2, submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no.1 of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and in view of the settlement / MOU dated 30th May, 2015,
she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed.
Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No.528/2013 under Sections 354/354-A/509 IPC registered at police station Dabri, and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
