% 23.08.2018 Respondent no.2 Hans Raj is present in Court and has been identified by SI Jai Chand of police station Mukherjee Nagar. He submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioners of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion vide Compromise Deed dated 7th April, 2017. He say that he has no objection in case the FIR No.493/2013 under sections 341/506/34 IPC and Section 27 of the Arms Act, registered at police station Mukherjee Nagar and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.
Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, the aforesaid and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
