% 13.12.2017 Petitioners are relatives of deceased husband of respondent no.2. FIR No. 477/2007 under Sections 498A/406/834 IPC was registered at police station Nangloi on the complaint of respondent no.2. Husband of the respondent no.2 has expired after registration of the FIR. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Ranbir Singh of police station Nangloi. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Court, Delhi on 2nd February, 2017 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, therefore, she is not willing to pursue the FIR. Petitioners and respondent no.2 shall remain bound by the terms of the
settlement.
Keeping in view that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2 voluntarily before the Mediation Centre, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
